The Kabbalah Centre was formed in the U.S. in the mid sixties and was originally the The National Research Institute of Kabbalah. Rav Yehuda Tzvi Brandwein, was part founder of the company. Kabbalah Centre has a a very unique viewpoint. Their approach to teaching is to start students with practical methods. These techniques do not require any prerequisites or previous knowledge of Hebrew or Jewish texts. According to Kabbalah views most spiritual or religious belief systems derive from one universal wisdom. As a result Kabbalah has resemblances to Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Buddhism and even some current new age teachings. Kabbalah views itself as an addition to a religion, not a religion all by itself.
Kabbalah Centre teaches a concept called Klippot. This concept is that everyone has a direct ,clear connection to the spiritual world. Klippot stops this spiritual energy from entering into the physical body. It is believed that a life of violence or bad behavior can bring about Klippot. However through meditation a person remove this negative energy.
Kabbalah is considered by many to be the world’s oldest body of spiritual wisdom. Followers believe it holds the keys to the secrets of the universe as well as to the mysteries of the human soul. Kabbalah shows in detail how to to remove every form of chaos, pain, and suffering in a persons life. Kabbalah has always been about being used, not just learned. Its overall mission is to bring simplicity to our life. Visit the Kabbalah Centre on their website to learn more.
